ISO 45001: 2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and provides guidance for its use to enable organizations to improve the workplace by preventing, as well as proactively improving, work-related injuries and illnesses. Provide safe and healthy.

ISO 45001: 2018 does not address issues such as product safety, property damage or environmental effects, beyond risks to workers and other related stakeholders.

ISO 45001:2018 can be used in whole or in part to systematically improve occupational health and safety management. However, a claim of compliance with this document cannot be accepted unless all its requirements are included in an organization’s OH&S management system and are met without exception.
